Trunyan, Tempat Menemui Yang Mati

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Trunyan adalah wilayah di Kintamani, di seberang danau Batur. Desa tempat kita bisa menemui mayat yang tidak dikubur, dan tidak bau. Jangankan orang Indonesia asli, orang Bali sendiri belum tentu pernah sampai kesana.

Kenapa bisa begitu?

Nyang Nyang Beach, Dangerously Private

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Me and kokoro no tomo planned to go to Kuta beach for a little walk in the morning. I thought it would be good to do this before his leaving to Sumatra. We could chat a little more after our quarrel those days.

His idea was to bring me to a private place to share our plans to his future and mine, so he ran the motorcycle passing Kuta, and there we went to Jimbaran, to the southest beach in Bali he said. This beach is located near to Uluwatu. I don’t know the exact place, but there is a kind of hotel/motel/villa named Nyang Nyang near the entry road of this beach.

We have to walk 50 m to go down the stairs to walk on the beach and go up stairs after that. Exhausting, you’d better be a person who likes adventure. Bring some bottles of mineral water and snacks just in case your blood glucose suddenly decreases or you’ll pass out… :p

That was my first time and I noticed the beach was so clean, rocks were the walking path of the entry road and no one was really there. Just actually no one. The board at the entry road said it was a surfing beach, but no one was there, even for a walk.

He had ever been there with friends from his boarding house when he was still at the university. He told me fishes had been seen on the beach at about 5 – 6 am and the water will elevate at about 11 am. The water will elevate until 6 m. Then I knew why no one was there.

Still, for me, with or without kokoro no tomo and because I am quite objective, this beach is beautiful. So much beautiful.

See you kokoro no tomo, have a good luck on your new job. :)
